In season 13 of the show Ninjago, there were two tribes called the Geckles and the Munces. Each tribe had a couple of traditions that they do! A tradition is something a group or person does often or on a certain day/time. I think it will be fun to tell you a little about the tribe’s traditions!

For the Munces, they have a tradition of crowning someone king/queen. There will be two contestants that will fight against each other, the winner will be king or queen. The king/queen will make the rules of the tribe and will be the tribe’s leader. For example, in the show when Nya came to help the Munce tribe, she had to get their attention by being the queen. She fought the original queen with her elemental power and won. Then she became their queen and told them how to work together.

Moving on to the Geckles, they have a tradition called “Trial by Mino”. For example, at one point in the show Kai and Zane try to explain why they have to work together. If the Geckles agree, they throw rocks at Kai and Zane. If they don’t, then Kai and Zane fall into a pit and have to fight a creature called Mino. Mino has to decide whether he likes Kai and Zane or not. Mino is very strong but Kai and Zane made friends with Mino and escaped!

In conclusion, both tribes have very interesting traditions. Some are a bit weird but they kind of make sense in a way! See you guys in the next post.
