Have you ever wanted to be a part of the ninja’s team? Here’s how an ordinary guy named Dareth became the ninja’s trusted ally and a ninja himself. Although he had no elemental power, he still got to fight many powerful villains such as Garmadon and Chen, and got to go on missions with the ninja. This is the story of how Dareth transformed into the brown ninja.

You may be wondering how Dareth even met the ninja. In this paragraph I will explain all about it! Ever since the ninja found out Lloyd was the destined green ninja, they were looking for a place to train him. Since the Monastery burnt down, the ninja needed another dojo to train in. All of a sudden, the ninja stumbled upon “Grand Sensei Dareth’s Mojo Dojo”. The ninja thought it was an interesting place and they desperately needed somewhere to train so they came inside. 

 Right away, Dareth tried to impress the ninja by telling them he was the master of animals so he could join their club; he was a fan of the ninja and wanted to be the “brown ninja”. Kai ignored his chatter and wanted to cut to the chase so he performed spinjitzu on Dareth and told him Lloyd needed to train. Startled, Dareth still happily accepted and so Lloyd got to train at Dareth’s dojo.

 

Ever since then, Dareth officially became friends with the ninja! Below are some important missions he went on. 

One special mission was in season six when all the ninja got captured in Nadakhan’s blade. If you didn’t know, Nadakhan is an evil Djinn (Djinn is another term for genie) who twists people’s wishes into making them “wish it all away”, eventually trapping them in his blade. At first it was up to Jay to save all the ninjas. He recruited “ninja replacements” which included Dareth. Dareth and Jay’s team worked together to free the ninja from the evil Djinn Nadakhan.

Another time Dareth helped the ninja was in the second season of Ninjago when the ninja were fighting evil Lord Garmadon. Garmadon, in control of the “Stone Army ” (a group of fierce stone warriors), attacked the ninja on the Dark Island. He then escaped to Ninjago City with the Stone Army. 

Then, Garmadon used his dark vehicle to shoot evil at the people of Ninjago. Dareth tried to stop Garmadon but didn’t succeed at first and ended up running away. When the ninja came back to Ninjago City, Garmadon sent his Stone Army to attack them. During that time, Garmadon had accidentally left his helmet that controlled the Stone Army behind, so Lloyd’s mother, Sensei Wu, and Dareth found the helmet laying on the road. Dareth then grabbed Garmadon’s helmet to control the Stone Army and save the ninja! He ran as fast as he could to get to the ninja.

 Dareth’s last appearance was in season nine of Ninjago when he joined The Resistance. The Resistance was a group of elemental masters who fought against Lord Garmadon when he was

resurrected by the evil princess Harumi. Although Dareth was not an elemental master, he still was a part of the group because he had saved the ninja many times. 

Soon, Dareth began to observe that the resistance didn’t appreciate him because he was not an elemental master; they didn’t include Dareth in their missions, they didn’t explain their plans to him, and they didn’t pay attention to him. He wanted to get his own elemental power so he spoke to Mystake in hopes that she could give him a special tea.

Finally, Dareth got to control his own elemental power of… brown! Wait what? Brown? It turned out that the elemental power didn’t last too long because Dareth kept having to use the bathroom. After all, he did drink a whole entire cauldron of magic. 

In conclusion, I think Dareth will be in upcoming seasons since he is a funny character that everyone loves! Even if Dareth causes trouble sometimes, he’s an enjoyable character that makes Ninjago a terrific show. He makes jokes a lot and is just so lovable. He makes everyone enjoy life in Ninjago! One thing I notice about Dareth’s appearances is that Dareth usually shows up when the ninja are gone or in trouble of some sort! For example when the ninja got trapped in Nadakhans blade, Dareth came in to the rescue. When the ninja got trapped in The First Realm, Dareth came in again! The next time the ninja get trapped, Dareth will probably be there to help!
