Monsters, ghosts, snakes: everywhere! The Cursed Realm has it all! Evil villains to nasty ghosts. The Cursed Realm is one wicked realm! When someone gets cursed by a spell from The Book of Spells they go to The Cursed Realm. But one thing you should know, is that The Cursed Realm is actually a living monster called “The Preeminent”. In fact, there was an evil ghost who was the elemental master of wind who only had one goal: to release The Preeminent in order to destroy all of Ninjago! This post will be all about The Cursed Realm.

The Preeminent

First I will be explaining how someone gets to The Cursed Realm. One often does this by getting cursed. For example, in season four of Ninjago, Sensei Garmadon sacrificed himself for Ninjago by banishing himself to The Cursed Realm so the Anacondrai Warriors could get destroyed. Ever since then, the Anacondrai Warriors were not a threat to Ninjago anymore, since no one could escape from The Cursed Realm unless the person who banished them got banished himself. Lloyd read the banishing spell and then Garmadon and the Anacondrai Warriors got banished to The Cursed Realm. One can also get there by opening a portal using a spell, but it’s really dangerous to do so. And the third way you can get there is by using The Realm Crystal. The Realm Crystal allows you to travel between realms including The Cursed Realm. 

Next I will explain what happens inside The Cursed Realm. This place is also known as “The Belly of the Beast”. There are cells inside holding everyone who has been cursed. This includes some villains the ninja faced like Chen, Garmadon, and Clouse. There was also an evil ghost who was an elemental master of wind and was trapped inside The Cursed Realm along with the other cursed villains. That’s right, the evil ghost Morro. When Garmadon sacrificed himself, and the portal to The Cursed Realm opened, Morro got out. Another fact about The Cursed Realm is that if it gets destroyed, then everyone inside will die.

Inside The Cursed Realm

Speaking of which, The Cursed Realm did in fact get destroyed! That’s right! Everyone inside The Cursed Realm including Garmadon, got sent to The Departed Realm since they “died”. You may be wondering, “How did The Cursed Realm get destroyed?”

 Well, it all started with Morro releasing The Preeminent. When The Preeminent escaped it first began destroying the small village where it was released from. The ninja then started evacuating everyone and fought The Preeminent. They knew it was too strong so they made up a plan. Since The Preeminent’s weakness was water, the ninja decided that they would lure The Preeminent into the sea that was surrounding the village. Once The Preeminent was weak enough, they would strike. 

So far so good. The Preeminent was in the water and was ready to be defeated. The ninja then attacked using their elemental powers. But something unexpected happened. The ghosts used the remains of the village to cover up The Preeminent in armor so it wouldn’t become weak. This is something even the ninja couldn’t stop. Everyone was in danger and was panicking! But then, all of a sudden, what no one saw coming was that Nya, who had the elemental power of water, unlocked her true potential! She then created a huge tsunami to sink The Cursed Realm! All the ghosts died along with The Cursed Realm! Ninjago was saved once again.
